2. Is NIL legal for high school athletes in Arizona?
Yes. Arizona allows high school athletes to participate in NIL activities, but they must follow specific guidelines to maintain eligibility, including not using school logos or receiving pay for athletic performance.
3. What does Desert Dynasty Sports do for student-athletes?
We help athletes build their brand, secure sponsorships, create content, connect with businesses, and stay compliant with AIA regulations.
4. How are athletes selected to join Desert Dynasty Sports?
Athletes can apply by submitting a athlete evaluation. Our team reviews each athlete’s potential based on performance, character, branding ability, and community fit.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Athletic Performance
• Participates in varsity competition and/or holds state or national rankings
• Holds All-State, All-Region, or MVP honors
• Starter or major contributor on team
2. Exposure & Visibility
• Ranked by recruiting platforms (e.g., 247Sports, Rivals, MaxPreps)
• Invited to elite showcases or combines
• Strong social media presence or highlight reel
3. Academic Standing
• Minimum 2.5 GPA
• Demonstrates responsibility on and off the field
4. Character & Community
• Demonstrates leadership and strong character
• No history of disciplinary issues
• Positive reputation among coaches and teachers
5. Branding Readiness
• Has existing NIL interest or potential
• Willing to participate in workshops, photoshoots, and branding efforts
5. Do parents need to be involved?
Yes — especially for athletes under 18. We work closely with families to ensure transparency and legal understanding of all partnerships.
6. Does it cost money to join?
We offer different service tiers. Some include monthly branding support, workshops, and media services.
7. Can a business sponsor an athlete or the whole collective?
Yes! Businesses can sponsor individual athletes or contribute to the Desert Dynasty collective, helping fund services and creating brand partnerships.
8. What kinds of businesses can get involved?
Local brands, clothing lines, restaurants, barbers, gyms, realtors, car washes — any business that wants to support youth athletes and get promotional exposure.
9. How does Desert Dynasty Sports protect athlete eligibility?
We strictly follow AIA guidelines. No school logos, uniforms, or promises of pay for play. All agreements are reviewed for compliance.
